June 18 2008 Graham Ducker won third prize in the Travel Essay Contest which was a joint venture between the Oshawa Senior Citizen Centre and the Oshawa Public Libraries.

We also read at the Havana Library (another day) and here is Graham reading from his new poetry book	After the reading (left pic) We presented our books to be added to their library	Graham & Stella Publish the Stellar Showcase Journal (for poets & writers) - which interested many Cuban poets
Havana University - English Dept.Students C.C.L.A. members read to the students in English and the translator Wency, read it Spanish.	Workshop at the Havana Library Cuban poets and (standing) is Manuel CCLA Vice Pres and translator	(Standing R) Richard Grove, Pres. of C.C.L.A  headed up the workshop (L standing)-Wency - our CCLA member & translator
Tropicoco Hotel CCLA group reading poetry and preparing to Read to the hotel guests in the evening.	Graham reading from his book at the Tropicoco Hotel	We were supposed to read for the Canadian Ambassador, but Fidel returned to Havana that day and things were hectic :-) However, she spent 45 mins with us and accepted our books to add to their newly built library.

Graham is a volunteer at the Northview Community Centre
Works once a month with  the Daytime Senior Group to create one poem.
At then end of the year 2006 - he presented the group with one of their poems framed.
In 2007 the hope is to have enough to create a chapbook.
